Beginner Green Smoothie Recipe

I just LOVE this cookbook, “Green Smoothie Revolution” by Victoria Boutenko.  Try this very simple but delicious recipe from the book for a beginner green smoothie.  You can substitute spinach for kale if you’re not ready for that yet!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 ripe bananas, cut up (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 cups water or non-dairy milk
  • 4-6 leaves kale (I like Lacinato)

Directions:

Blend all ingredients in a blender.
